Fashion and wedding question

One of my sister-in-laws (damn it feels weird to type that) is getting married this Sunday. I was planning to wear my (black with grey pinstripe) three-piece suit to the event. However I hate wearing ties (I also hate suit jackets, but that is a secondary issue). The only collarless shirts I have are black, all my white shirts have collars, and I am unwilling to buy new clothes for this event.
