My computer has been infected with at least one nasty worm/trojan/virus adware thingie, and I can't get rid of it.
Thus far it:
-Lets Windows Defender run, but it still present when the post-removal reboot happens.
-Crashes the Trend Micro Housecall system at various points before it can remove it.
-Does not let Windows System Restore get to the point of apply a previous restore point
-Crashes HiJack This.
-Blocks Download of AVG Antivirus & AVG Internet Security
-Sometimes redirects the Norton website to a scam anti-virus site
I am currently at a loss, but am still trying things.
EDIT:
and...
-Crashes IE when I try to access the Norton virus scan
-Has blocked Task Manager "By my administrator".
