Nuke them from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Got rid of the Trojan, had to effectively nuke my OS and start over from factory specs to do it, but it is gone.

Didn't lose any data, nor anything else that can't be easily re-downloaded.

Managed to get my wireless car working, mainly by killing the linksys connection setup and letting windows do it instead. Still can't get my video card working, but that was a multi-day hassle to get working the first time, so I am unsurprised. Since I'm not gaming on this machine anymore I'm just leaving it out for the time being.

So back to about 97% functional and I'll sort out the last details later.

Now I can get back to my Arisia related projects, which sadly have been going about as smoothly as the computer stuff.
