More with the laptop
Feb. 13th, 2009 01:31 pmSo after my previous call attempting to cancel the laptop I ordered and all that fun, I called back yesterday during proper business hours to actually cancel it.
I was told they would put in a request to the factory to cancel it, and that would take 1-2 days. When I asked how I would know if the cancelation had gone through they told me to check my order status online. I pushed this point and asked if I would be receiving any confirmation that my order was canceled. This was met with a "No" and I was told "but it should show up online, they might ship it, but that is unlikely."
Today when attempting to check my order status it comes of as an error, and tells me that order number doesn't exist. So apparently canceling an order consists of wiping it like it never existed. But at least this is finally done with.
So Feh on you Lenovo, your products might be nice, but your customer service, build times, online status, etc. has all been universally useless.
On the plus side, as of last night I now have a very nice Toshiba laptop I bought locally for $40 less.
