Fnu.

So today is my official first day of unemployment. The plan for today was as follows:

-Sign up for unemployment
-Clean the house a bit
-Do some work on the cars
-Rake lawn

( The reality has been a bit different: )

UPDATE 1:30pm:
-Tried new number in online system took 30min to get to the point where I could enter it and was t0ld it isn't valid and I need to call the phone number.
-Unfortunately I'd been trying the phone number since 12:30. The first time it told me to call back during normal business hours (I was) and every time since I've gotten a busy signal or that the lines are busy.
-I've tried calling the HR help line again and that is now busy.

I am completely out of options right now. And it is raining so I can't even do some of the other stuff I'd planned for today. And a check I was expecting for my unused vacation time still hasn't arrived like I was told it would.

Currently hate my life. Feh.
