I just spent the better part of an hour plus on my hands and knees scrubbing every inch of the bathroom & kitchen floors. Instead of the usual mopping I actually got down there with a rag and scrubbed all the corners, and behind the radiators and everything. However because said floor is mostly decade plus old cheap linoleum even after all my efforts is still looks like crap. But at least now I know it's clean crap.

Today I got a variation on the Nigeria spam. Normally I just delete these unread, but this one amused the hell out of me. Apparently I am now being spammed by Victorian widows in the final stages of consumption.

cancer. With this hard reality that has befallen my family and me, I have
decided to donate this fund to you and want you to use this gift which comes
from my husbands effort to fund the upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans,
destitute, the down-trodden, physically challenged children, barren-women and
persons who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially.
I took this decision because relatives and friends have plundered so much of my
wealth since my illness; I cannot live with the agony of entrusting this huge
responsibility to any of them. Please I do not want this money to be misused
hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence
I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord.
Exodus {14 VS14} says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my
peace. I don't need any telephone communication in this regard because of my
soundless voice and presence of my husband's relatives around me always.
