Top five cars
Jun. 9th, 2007 11:06 amSo a bit over a month ago I posted about Top Five and the Geek. Talking about how the more you know on a particular subject, the harder it would be to pick your favorites. Well I've finally come up with my "Top five cars I'd own if I had all the money in the world, but had to drive these for the rest of my life".
Rules are:
The list(in no particular order):
1. ( 1959 Cadillac Landau Hearse )
2.( 'Real' 1962 Mercury Comet custom wagon )
3.( Custom Beetle with a sliding cloth top )
4. ( 1978 Aston Martin V8 Vantage )
5. ( 1st Gen Scion xB )
The also-rans:
( 1958 Cadillac )
( Ariel Atom )
( Morgan Aero 8 GTN )
Final Thoughts
Of course this is my list now. Ask me again in a few months and it might be different. I'm amused that on my dream car list three of the five are "economy" cars. I guess I just don't have caviar taste (then again the other two are on the other end of the price spectrum).
Rules are:
- money is not an issue (this includes purchase, insurance, and upkeep)
- all cars are in top condition
- I'd have to use these for any and all driving
